B.O.S.S.Y. Method to Goal Setting in 2024!

January 1, 2025 · By · 6 min read

Hey Bosses!

Can you believe it’s been a whole year since I started strutting my stuff on Bossy Fit By Mina! 🎉 That’s right, it’s our first anniversary! 🥳 And what a fabulous, fierce year it’s been. We’ve sweat, we’ve slayed, and most importantly, we’ve supported each other through every crunch, lunge, and last-minute chocolate craving (because balance is key, darlings 😉).

Last year, I was all about the SMART method for goal setting. Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound – it was the go-to for getting our goals in gear. But, let’s be honest, while SMART was savvy, it’s starting to feel a bit… well, last year. And I, the boss of BossyFit, is anything but outdated!

So, this year, I am shaking things up with something even better and more suited to our fabulous selves – the BOSSY Method! 💪💃 Here’s how we’re going to do it:

  1. Balanced: We’re not just about fitness goals, bosses. We’re about life goals. Work, play, health, happiness – we’re finding the perfect blend!
  2. Optimistic: Good vibes only! We’re setting goals with a sprinkle of positivity and a dash of can-do attitude.
  3. Specific: We’re still keeping it real with clear, concise goals. After all, a boss knows exactly what she wants.
  4. Supported: Nobody’s an island, especially not a boss. We’ve got a community of fierce, fabulous supporters right here. Whether you need a pep talk or a workout buddy, we’ve got your back!
  5. Yield: We’re here for results, honey! Whether it’s feeling more confident, getting that promotion, or rocking that two-piece, we’re setting goals that bring real, tangible rewards.

Tip Guide for Creating B.O.S.S.Y. Method Goals

B for Balanced:

Tip: Blend different areas of your life – career, personal growth, fitness, and fun.

Example: “This year, I’ll aim for a promotion at work, read one new book a month, hit the gym thrice a week, and plan a monthly outing with friends.”

Why It’s BOSSY: It’s a well-rounded goal that nurtures all aspects of your life, ensuring you’re not just thriving in one area but blossoming in all!

O for Optimistic:

Tip: Set goals with a positive and hopeful outlook.

Example: “I will approach new challenges at work with enthusiasm, seeing them as opportunities to grow and excel.”

Why It’s BOSSY: This goal is drenched in positivity, focusing on growth and potential rather than obstacles.

S for Specific:

Tip: Be clear and precise about what you want to achieve.

Example: “By June, I’ll complete a 5K run in under 30 minutes.”

Why It’s BOSSY: This goal is laser-focused, with a clear target and timeline. No vagueness here!

S for Supported:

Tip: Ensure you have a support system in place.

Example: “Join a local entrepreneur group to network and gain insights for launching my online boutique.”

Why It’s BOSSY: It recognizes the power of community and networking in achieving entrepreneurial goals.

Y for Yield:

Tip: Focus on goals that deliver tangible benefits.

Example: “Implement a weekly meal prep routine to save time and ensure a healthy diet.”

Why It’s BOSSY: It’s a practical goal with immediate, measurable benefits for your health and time management.

So, are you ready to be BOSSY with your goals? This year is all about making waves, being bold, and owning every part of our journey. Remember, you’re not just setting goals, you’re setting the stage for your most fabulous year yet.

Here’s to another year of being bold, outstanding, and spectacularly sassy. Let’s do this, bosses!

Stay fierce,
Mina Boss 💕
